Make sure that you follow forum policies for linking to websites in signatures. Some forums have restrictions for promotion of other sites.
Additionally, try looking into joining a webring which is basically a small bit of code you put on your website which links to other websites of similar interests. It’s the “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” concept. You link to others and in turn they’ll link to you via the same code. The hosts of the webring will automatically rotate the linked web sites along with extras like “take me to a random site” “next” etc.
Here are a couple of webring directories to get you started, although many more can be found with a simple google search for “webring”.
