lol i feel ya…i can just see conservation come up askin me what the hell i was doing..well on youtube, Wade bourne told me to put on waders and fish perpendicular to the shore.

good idea, but if you dont have wadders, instead of casting in the middle of the lake, i have a habit of casting sideways, (on a 45 degree angle).
