What temp should water be for a pond turtle in an outdoor pond?

I live in southern california and I am worried that the pond water is still too cold for my pond turtle. She is of good size so she isn't tiny at all. We are moving her from an indoor tank to an outdoor pond. We have put in larger feeder fish to start the outdoor pond and they seem to be suriving and doing find. Should the turtle be okay in the same water since the fish require more heat than the turtle?

She should be just fine in an outdoor enclosure. The one thing I would really worry about is her wondering from the pond and getting run over by a car. Also, please concider predators in your area such as coyotes and especially raccoons. Be sure that the pond is large enough for escape from the hungry paws and mouths of wildlife.

As far as feeder fish go, if they are minnows or goldfish, they both are cold water fish and prefer lower temperatures to higher ones. Be sure to adjust your tutle to the temp change slowly, dont just dunp her in, let her make the decision to enter the cool water. She may brumate under water for a bit and on cold nights, but dont worry. Unless of course it is not a native turtle and more of a tropical turtle such as a river turtle, then you need to concider keeping it inside, but if it is a US turtle, the temps should be good. Good luck to the both of you!
