What kind of paint is safe for pond statuary?
I have a beautiful fairy fountain in my pond that has lost some of its paint due to my hosing it down too energetically. She's lying on her belly, on some stones in the center of the pond, spitting into a shell, and the water spills from the shell into the pond. I would like to repaint her but, of course, don't want to use anything that will harm my koi or plants. What is a safe paint (and method) to use to repaint pond statuary?

Pool paint and pond paint are both great choices and can be colored to order. Both are long lasting and water proof and peel proof. Garage floor paint is another good paint to use.

Go to Ace or anywhere you can buy paint… Just research and see how good the paint really is. I've heard that Valspar works and when it's wet it doesn't run or chip. Good luck

In my opinion the longest lasting and safest paint for anything to do with ponds is the white elastomeric roof sealant.
